1. Who we are
HomFax™ is a service of Regulus Development Corporation, 539 W. Commerce St #4489, Dallas, TX 75208 — (844) HOMFAX / (844) 466-3290, homfaxtm@homfaxtm.com. We hold Texas insurance licences: Adjuster #3277221 and Public Adjuster #3473995, and we operate a property-history and claim-evidence platform (Patent Pending US 19/417,288; StormCast™ weather intelligence Patent Pending US 64/027,247).
2. What the services are
- The property repository and reports — verifiable property history, storm verification, and risk statistics, compiled from public records, federal data sources, and evidence documented under HomFax supervision.
- Public adjusting — representation of policyholders in insurance claims, provided only under a separate written contract that complies with Chapter 4102 of the Texas Insurance Code. Nothing on these websites creates that engagement.
- Quality-assurance supervision — documentation and oversight of restoration work from beginning to end.
3. What we do not promise
Reports, scores, storm verifications, and risk statistics are evidentiary aids, not guarantees. They do not promise that any insurance claim will be accepted, that any policy provides coverage, or that any repair outcome will occur. Coverage decisions belong to your insurer under your policy; legal questions belong to a lawyer you engage. Data sourced from public and federal records is presented as those records state it, and those records can contain errors we did not create.
4. Free inspections and lead submissions
A free inspection request or an email submitted through our pages creates no obligation on you and no contract with us. We will use your email to respond to your request and, where permitted by law, to send you relevant information — every such email identifies us and carries a working unsubscribe. 5. Accounts
Dashboard accounts are provisioned by HomFax. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend an account used to attempt unauthorised access, to tamper with records, or to abuse the service.
6. The record's integrity
Property histories are hash-chained: each event is cryptographically linked to the one before it. You may not attempt to alter, forge, or misrepresent entries. Corrections are made by appending corrective entries, never by rewriting history — that immutability is what makes the record worth anything.
7. Intellectual property
The HomFax™ name and logo, the site contents, report formats, and the underlying systems are the property of Regulus Development Corporation, protected by trademark, copyright, and pending patents. Reports we generate for you are yours to use for your property's purposes — sale, lending, claims — with attribution intact; the systems that generate them remain ours.
8. Warranty terms are separate
The HomFax Limited Lifetime Warranty is published in full at homfaxtm.com/warranty.html and applies to work performed under a signed work agreement. These website terms do not create, extend, or modify that warranty.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent Texas law permits, our liability arising from use of the websites and free informational services is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim (for free services, zero), and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, disclaims duties owed under our insurance licences, or waives protections you hold under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act or the Texas Insurance Code.
10. Disputes
These terms are governed by Texas law. Venue for disputes lies in Dallas County, Texas. Before filing anything, contact us — most disputes are documentation problems, and documentation is what we do.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it. A change cannot retroactively reduce rights you hold under a signed agreement.
